    How firm is the BellaMoon 3-in-1 Pregnancy And Nursing Pillow?

    Our pillows are designed to be medium firmness, plump and plush. It is really important you thoroughly massage the stuffing once the pillow has been removed from the packaging.

    I did not receive a confirmation email.

    Confirmation emails are sent with every order, please check your junk folder as they can sometimes end up in there. If you have received a confirmation SMS, that means there was no email entered at the check out. Please reach out to our team and they will re-send your confirmation email.

     

    How do I make a return?

    My order has not arrived.

    Orders can take up to 7 working days to arrive. Please use the tracking number in your order confirmation to check for updates. If you have concerns about the delivery of your order, please reach out to us at hello@bellamoon.info and we will look into this for you. We also recommend you reach out to the courier company for a quicker response.

    How do I wash my BellaMoon™ Pregnancy Pillow?

    Simply remove all the covers, machine wash at 40 °C and leave to airdry. Full wash instructions are on the inside or underside of each product. Please read carefully before washing. More information can be found here.

     

    What is the difference between the Full Moon and the Half Moon Lie Down Nursing Nest?

    The BellaMoon™ Full Moon 6-in-1 Pregnancy & Nursing System is an entire system with multiple different functions in one box.  It is ideal for pregnant mums who are keen to try breastfeeding.

    Part of the Full Moon system contains a New Moon Pregnancy pillow - which has been designed to provide comfort for mum the whole way through her pregnancy and right the way through her breastfeeding journey.

    Breastfeeding can be tiring, that’s what has drawn us to the lateral breastfeeding position in the first place, but unsupported, it can take a toll on your body leaving it achy, knotted and tense. The addition of the New Moon Mothers pillow as part of the Full Moon alleviates all this pain, allowing mum to melt into every feed. As part of the Full Moon, you also get an Eclipse privacy nursing cover which doubles up to form the base of the Full Moon. This is especially useful for new mums who may be nervous about breastfeeding in public. The Half Moon Lie Down Nursing Nest completes the Full Moon, providing baby with a safe space to nurse.

    On the other hand, the Half Moon Nursing Nest alone is ideal for new mums who have recently just discovered BellaMoon™ after giving birth. New, tired mums who are craving the restfulness of the lateral breastfeeding position with mum's comfort being less of a priority. We understand budget can be tight for new mums, especially when on maternity leave meaning the Half Moon Nursing Nest is the best choice for some.

     

    Can I buy the parts separately?

    Yes you can buy separately.  This is called ‘Build a BellaMoon’.

    The Full Moon consists of 3 different products, meaning you can spread the cost, purchase at each stage or get gifted from different people.

     

     

    Do I need to buy the base?

    We do recommend that you buy the base if you are wanting to build a BellaMoon™ Full Moon. The base physically attaches the New Moon Pillow to the Half Moon Lie Down Nursing Nest to ensure greater security. It also doubles up as a Nursing Privacy cover for when you’re out and about.

     

    What’s the difference between BellaMoon™ ‘New Moon’ Pregnancy Pillow and other pregnancy pillows?

    The BellaMoon™ New Moon 3-in-1 Pregnancy Pillow is like no other pregnancy pillow on the market.

    Throughout your pregnancy journey, the full sized, 1.4metres long pillow is designed to support you and your growing bump, providing you with extreme comfort and ease, especially targeting those pregnancy related pain and pressure points in the neck, shoulders, back and hips. But, what really sets the BellaMoon™ Pregnancy Pillow apart from others is its continued functionality, right the way through until baby is over 12 months old. The ends zip off and come together to form a smaller C-shaped pillow which is perfect for upright nursing in those early months. In this position, it can also be used as a baby sitting up support pillow around the house. But perhaps, what is particularly unique and allows it to stand out from others is that it can be attached to our Lie Down Half Moon Nest along with the Eclipse Nursing Cover/Base to form the Full Moon.     Can I change the covers?

    Yes we sell separate covers online. You can remove and wash your cover or swap it out for a new design.

     

    What age is BellaMoon™ suitable for?

    The New Moon Pregnancy and Nursing Pillow is suitable from pregnancy right up until approx. 18 months (as a supervised sitting up support), or until such as time as baby is able to move or climb out by itself.

    The Full Moon is suitable from pregnancy right up until approx. 18 months, or until such as time as baby is able to move or climb out by itself.


    The Half Moon Lie-Down Nursing Nest is suitable from birth to approx. 18 months, or until such as time as baby is able to move or climb out by itself.

     

    How should I store my BellaMoon™?

    Each and every BellaMoon™ product has been designed with style at the forefront to ensure that our products can be a gorgeous addition to your décor.

    We recommend storing the New Moon Pregnancy/Mothers pillow along the top of your bed pillows where it can be made into a feature of your bedroom interior.

    The Half Moon Lie-Down Nursing Nest can be stored in crib or cot when baby is not present or simply on top of the bed.

    Safety

    Is BellaMoon™ breathable?

    BellaMoon™ has passed all required Air Permeability tests with INTERTEK UK in accordance with British Standard BS4578: 1970 Airflow through Infant Pillows.  For more information on our full suite of testing and compliance see our section on safety testing.

     

    Should I wash BellaMoon™ before using?

    It is not necessary to wash your BellaMoon™ before using it. BellaMoon™ products have been manufactured in a facility which has full compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice which is an International Standard that ensures products are consistently produced and controlled according to quality standards with a clean and hygienic manufacturing area, including laboratories and storage.

    However, if you like to wash it before use then there is no issue with that - it will not cause any damage. Follow the wash guidance on the product labels.

     

    I need to buy replacement covers / parts – where do I find these?

    My friend gave me her BellaMoon™ after she was finished with it – I have no safety instructions – where do I find these?

    We are delighted to hear you are re-using your BellaMoon™ and passing it on to others.  All safety instructions are clearly marked on the product.  You will also find all safety instruction on a label either underneath your Nursing Nest or inside the cover of your Pregnancy Pillow.  In the event that the safety labels have been removed, you will find all detailed safety instructions on our website, or in the Assembly Guide document here.

    We recommend you give your BellaMoon a full examination for any damages before re-use – check the covers, throw them in the wash and ensure the plastic Anti-Roll fin has not been damaged.

    Can I leave my baby to sleep in the BellaMoon™ Lie Down Nursing Nest in a crib?

    We recognise that you may feed your baby to sleep.

    BellaMoon™ is ideal for nursing baby until baby is asleep before transferring into their crib.  NEVER leave your baby unsupervised in any part of BellaMoon™.  After breastfeeding is completed, baby must be transferred out of its Nursing Nest and placed on their own separate sleep surface.  We have demonstrated how to do this many times on our social media Instagram Stories and our You Tube videos.

    We recommend that parents follow the safe sleep guidance issued by the Lullaby Trust, where all babies should be placed to sleep on their own separate sleep surface. 

    Due to the breastfeeding nature of BellaMoon, babies will seek a mother’s breast therefore may move out of position in search of mother if she is not lying immediately adjacent in the lateral breastfeeding position.

    Is the BellaMoon™ Half Moon Lie Down Nursing Nest safe?

    Yes – when used correctly and as intended, the Half Moon Lie Down Nursing Nest is completely safe,  however there are some things you need to bear in mind when using a BellaMoon™ Nursing Nest.

    The BellaMoon™ Half Moon Lie Down Nursing Nest is designed for babies from 0-18 months under full supervision by an awake and alert adult - or such as time as baby can move out of the Nursing Nest themselves.

    Due to the breastfeeding nature of BellaMoon™, babies will seek a mother’s breast therefore may move out of position in search of mother if she is not lying immediately adjacent in the lateral breastfeeding position.

    Do NOT leave baby lying in BellaMoon™ without the immediate presence of Mother directly adjacent.

    Keep BellaMoon™ away from walls or other vertical structures due to the risk that baby may move between BellaMoon™ and the side structure, become entrapped and suffocate.

    Can I use the BellaMoon™ Half Moon or Full Moon for co-sleeping?

    BellaMoon™ products are not recommended for co-sleeping.  BellaMoon™ is not a cot, or a sleep positioner. 

    BellaMoon™ is designed for short intervals of day and night-time breastfeeding. Once breastfeeding is complete and baby has latched off, baby should be returned to sleep in their own separate sleep surface.

    The BellaMoon™ Full Moon and Half Moon Nursing Nest are designed for lateral breastfeeding under full supervision by an awake and alert adult.

    Research on bedsharing shows an increased risk of SIDS between 2 and 3 months.  This is a particularly vulnerable time, as babies lack good head control and are unable to control their airways.  Therefore, particular care should be taken with babies under 4 months old.

    DO NOT use the Mother's Pillow within the adult bed at night-time as it may pose a suffocation hazard.

     

    How soon can I use my BellaMoon™ Lie Down Nursing Nest?

    You can use your BellaMoon™ Full Moon or Half Moon Nursing Nest from birth to 18 months for lateral breastfeeding under full supervision by an awake and alert adult (or until such as time as baby can move out of the Nursing Nest by itself).

    You will generally find that it will take a few days for you to perfect your latch in the sitting up breastfeeding position in the early days.  The lateral feeding position is generally easier from Day 2 onwards.

    If your baby is struggling with colic, it may affect their ability to laterally feed until they are a few weeks old, however, this should get easier with time. If this happens, wait a few days and go back to your lateral feeding position once your baby is more settled.

     *Due to hygiene reasons, we can only issue refunds where the product has been unopened, unused and with all labels, in its original packaging. 


    We don't provide return labels due to the size of the box.  You will be required to use your local Post Office or any other preferred Courier Service.

    Where is my refund?

    Once we have received your return and checked it for any damage, your refund will be issued.  Generally, any refunds are processed twice a month, on the 1st day of the month and the 15th day of the month. If you have any concerns, please email us on hello@bellamoon.info

    Can I pre-order a product ahead of launch or that has sold out?

    We generally try to avoid pre-order, until delivery of the goods has arrived. Therefore, when you order an item it will be in stock.

     

    What are the payment options?

    We offer payment with a number of payment gateways, including all major credit cards, Paypal, Apple Pay – see our check-out for more information.

    We also offer payment support via Klarna (currently UK only) which allows you to pay for the product over 3 months in three instalments, or buy now, pay later.

     

    Do you offer a payment plan?

    Yes, we have partnered with Klarna in the UK (USA coming soon), making it even easier for you to buy a BellaMoon. There are two payment plans available at checkout:

    1. Pay later in three interest free instalments
    2. Pay 30 days after delivery

     

    What is Klarna? 

    Klarna is a Swedish payment service provider that takes end-to-end responsibility for your payment. Klarna is the provider of smooth payments to more than  200,000 online stores. Over 85 million consumers worldwide have trusted Klarna to securely handle their payments.   

     

    How does Pay later in 3 interest-free instalments work?  

    Pay later in 3 interest-free instalments will allow you to spread the cost of your purchase over 3 equal payments. The payment for each instalment will  automatically be collected from the debit or credit card you entered at checkout. Your first instalment will be collected when your order is confirmed by  BellaMoon and instalments 2 and 3 are scheduled 30 and 60 days later, respectively. You can always monitor your payments’ schedule in the ​Klarna app

    Am I eligible for Pay later in 3 interest-free instalments?  

    To use Pay later in 3 interest-free instalments you must be at least 18. Whilst this option is widely promoted, Pay later in 3 interest-free instalments is subject to  your financial circumstances. When choosing Pay later in 3 interest-free instalments, our assessment will not affect your credit rating.  

     

    How can I increase my chances of being accepted for Pay later in 3 interest-free instalments?  

    Klarna is unique and offers Pay later in 3 interest-free instalments based on a number of factors such as the order value, previous order history and item  availability. If you are 18 or over, you can improve your chances of being offered Pay later in 3 interest-free instalments by ensuring you provide your full name and  accurate address details and shipping to your registered billing address. All orders are assessed individually. Just because you have been accepted for a Klarna  payment method before does not mean it will be offered for every order and in turn, as it is denied does not mean it will be denied for all future orders.

     

    What do I need to provide when I make a purchase? 

    If you want to make a purchase with Klarna using Pay later in 3 interest-free instalments, you'll need to provide your mobile phone number, email address, current  billing address and a debit or card card. The mobile number is required in case we need to reach you. All communications will be sent to your email address. It's  very important that you give us the correct details, as otherwise you will not receive your payment schedule and any updated order information.  

     

    Will a credit search take place against me?  

    Klarna may run so-called unrecorded enquiries (or soft credit searches) that do not affect credit scoring and are only visible to you and Klarna, but not visible to  other lenders. Neither Klarna nor BellaMoon™ run credit searches against you that could impact your credit rating.   

     

    Why have I not been offered Pay later in 3 interest-free instalments?  

    Although Pay later in 3 interest-free instalments is widely promoted it is not always universally available. The Pay later in 3 interest-free instalments payment option  is automatically generated by algorithms that are dependent upon a number of factors including address details, cardholder details, amount of order, the online  store, previous order history and item availability.   

     

    What are my payment options with Klarna?  

    Payment for your Pay later in 3 interest-free instalments will automatically be collected from the debit or credit card you entered at checkout. The first payment is  taken when the order is confirmed. The second and third instalments are collected 30 and 60 days, respectively, after the first instalment. You can always monitor  your payments’ schedule in the Klarna app.    

     

    What happens if I cancel or return my order?  

    As soon as BellaMoon™ have accepted your cancellation/return, Klarna will cancel any future scheduled payments as well as refund any amounts due. The return  will be reflected in the Klarna app immediately.  

      

    What happens if I don’t pay for my order?  

    Klarna will automatically attempt to collect your payment for your Pay later in 3 interest-free instalments purchase at BellaMoon™ from the debit or credit card  you entered at checkout. If we are unable to collect your payment on the scheduled due date Klarna will make one further attempt to automatically collect  payment two days later. Should this last payment attempt fail, Klarna will issue you a statement for the full outstanding order amount which will become payable 15  days later. Klarna shall notify you when a payment is due two days in advance of attempting to collect your payment and you can always monitor the due date in  Klarna app at your convenience. Your credit score will not be impacted by using Klarna’s ‘Pay later in 3 instalments’ product even if you have failed to pay on time.   

     

    I have been asked to go to the Klarna site. Is this correct?  

    You can view all of your Klarna purchases and payment schedule in the Klarna app or by logging onto Klarna.com/uk.   

     

    Is my payment information safe?  

    Payment information is processed securely by Klarna. No card details are transferred to or held by BellaMoon™. All transactions take place via connections  secured with the latest industry standard security protocols. 

     

    Can I pay before the due date?  

    Yes. Just go to the Klarna app or log onto Klarna.com/uk and pay off early. 

     

    Have you received my payment?  

    Klarna will notify you via email and push notification from the Klarna app when a payment is due and when this has successfully been collected, or in the unlikely  event of your payment failing. If a payment has been collected but you have not received payment confirmation, you can always check the status of your order and  payments in the Klarna app or by logging in at ​www.klarna.com/uk​.   

     

    What happens to my statement, when I've returned the goods?  

    Once BellaMoon™ has received the return (partial or full) and you have received their confirmation of this, an updated statement with an adjusted payment  schedule will be sent to you by Klarna if you've made a partial return. With a full return, we shall refund any payments collected and cancel any future scheduled  payments. You are always able to monitor the status of your order in the Klarna app. 

      

    I've received a statement, but I've not yet received my goods.  

    In the event that your goods have not been received please call BellaMoon to check on your order and delivery status. You can also contact Klarna’s Customer  Service so that we can postpone the due date on your payment or put the order on hold in the Klarna app while you wait for the goods to arrive.

       

    I have cancelled my order. How long will it take until I receive my refund?  

    As soon as the store has registered your cancellation or your return, the refund will be processed within 5-7 business days.    

     

    I have asked for a refund. How will I be refunded?  

    Refunds shall be issued back to the debit or credit card which was originally entered at checkout. 

     

    I haven’t received an email with my statement/payment information.  

    You can log in the Klarna app or at​ www.klarna.com/uk​, where you will find all of your orders and payment schedule information.
